Lambskin

Lambskin comes from young sheep and is usually a by-product of meat production. Whether the term “lamb” may be used depends on the age of the animal. In general, sheep younger than one year are called lambs – even if they are already full-grown. The distinction between sheepskin and lambskin is based solely on age, not the stage of growth.
Lambskin has many positive properties, which is why it is often used in the clothing industry. It has excellent thermal insulation, balances temperature and has a natural self-cleaning ability. It can also absorb a lot of moisture without feeling wet or cold – which is also the reason why lambskin is ideal for shoes. Due to its attractive appearance and soft texture, lambskin is also a popular design element for bags and other accessories. Lambskin is available in different hair lengths and textures and in many natural shades and dyes, so there is a type to suit every taste.

The quality of lambskin used to make clothing and accessories can vary. Characteristics of a high-quality fur:

  • Fur density: the more hairs per square centimetre, the higher the quality of the lambskin.
  • Shine: the brighter the coat shines, the higher its quality.

Shearling

Genuine natural lambskin with a soft finish. It gives leather accessories a very special, luxurious look; the colour of the shearling is matched to that of the leather. The combination of rough but silky, shiny shearling and smooth leather also creates an exciting contrast. Due to the natural self-cleaning power of lambskin, bags and accessories made from it are relatively easy to care for.

Search engines
We use tracking methods from search engine providers to optimise our advertisements so that you can easily find our online shop in standard search engines with relevant search queries in the future too. For example, to determine the relevance of an advertisement, we record the categories that are interesting to the shop’s visitor, and whether an order was placed. This data is pseudonymised and transferred to the search engine providers.
Display
To be able to show you relevant advertising banners on external websites, we work together with display networks and service providers. To optimise advertisements, we use cookies and tracking methods that collect data about surfing behaviour, save that data in cookies and transfer the data, pseudonymised, to the technology providers.
Portals
In addition to our online shop, we also present our most exciting offers and most popular products on external product profiles so that they are easier to find. To optimise the product selection, we use cookies and tracking methods, for example, in order to determine which items are particularly popular and if an order is placed as a result of an advertisement.
Affiliates
We work together with affiliate programmes and use their cookies and tracking methods so that you don’t miss any exciting promotions and can benefit from bonus programmes. Affiliate programmes are the partner networks of individual website operators such as voucher portals, bonus programmes and bloggers. These technologies help us to determine if the advertisements introduced by the affiliates have generated an order. This benefits both you and the partners.
Retargeting
We work together with retargeting providers so that we can show you advertising banners on external websites with relevant products from our online shop which you may have been interested in, but which you have not yet purchased. To do this, transaction data from our website is recorded, e.g., items you have viewed or placed in your shopping cart. If you decide against having data collected for retargeting purposes, a new window will open and redirect you to our retargeting provider's website. If you wish to ensure that data will no longer be forwarded to the partners, please follow the instructions on their website and then save your details to conclude the process.
Social networks
To show you exciting promotions and advertisements that are tailored to you on your preferred social media channels, we use their cookies and tracking technologies. To do this, pseudonymous data is transmitted to the networks and, if necessary, merged with other data by the network.
