Natural leather is characterised by its durability because it is naturally highly abrasion-resistant, hard-wearing and tear-resistant.
Our leather bags and accessories are designed so that they can accompany you for a long time. We attach great importance to minimising waste. All skins are carefully cut to maximise use and excess sections are reused for other products where possible.
We only use leather that is a by-product of meat production to ensure that no animal is killed for fashion purposes. We recognise the challenges posed by the meat industry and the associated environmental impact and are working with our suppliers to improve traceability in our supply chains. Our endeavours and guidelines are based on the "Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare".
At the same time, we consistently refrain from using exotic leather and leather from endangered species - instead, we rely on high-quality leather haptics in croco and reptile look.
LEATHER WORKING GROUP
We have been a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG) since 2020. The LWG is made up of brands, suppliers, leather manufacturers and stakeholders in the leather processing industry and specialises in improving the environmental performance and efficiency of leather production. The LWG has developed a comprehensive audit programme that certifies tanneries based on their environmental practices.

We take environmental responsibility by using not only robust and durable, but also responsibly produced leather as the material for our products. As certified members of the Leather Working Group, our suppliers' tanneries have been awarded the highest medals in the ranking - the Gold Standard and the Silver Standard.
Since May 2022, we have been sourcing 100% of our leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group - meaning we can offer our customers certified leather products without exception.
GLOBAL RECYCLING STANDARD
So that you can be sure that our products actually contain recycled leather, we work with established standards such as those of Textile Exchange. We are certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), which verifies recycled materials from source to finished product. Certified by Control Union TE-00104454. Only products that carry the GRS logo are certified.
